Not too long ago, we received another great survival story from Tim, a loyal Rokform customer.
"Just wanted to pass along a compliment. My hands were full as I was getting into my pickup truck in parking lot and I placed my iphone8 with Rugged case on the bed rail of truck which is covered with plastic rail guard. So, it is balanced on the rail and I get distracted and drive off with it laying on bed rail. I drive 7 miles to home over bumpy country roads. I get in the house and discover I don't have my phone.....oh no! I run out to [my] truck just hoping it fell down inside of bed of truck. As I look over into bed it is not there.....my heart sank. I walk around to driver side of truck and to my surprise and great relief that phone fell off the rail toward the ground but the magnet was strong enough to stick the phone to the side of my truck and ride there for 7 miles! Thank you Rokform, I will never buy another brand!"

If you’re prone to accidents or just want to add some magnetic tech to your phone, buy a Rugged case, or any of our other magnetic collections, on our Product page. The neodymium magnet is widely used and super strong. You won’t have to worry about the magnet affecting your phone’s performance—Rokform magnets are 100% safe. I have a similar truck story. I take my big dog to a local hiking venue most weekend. Sometimes it’s hard to get her clipped back in the backseat after a walk/run. One day I stuck my phones to my door, so I had both hands free. I drove about 5 miles and stopped at the local grocery store to grab something quick. I reached in my pocket for my phone and realized it wasn’t there. I panicked, walked back to the truck, and there it was, stuck to the door. I don’t know if it would have handles the 65 mph highway speed it would have seen if I hadn’t stopped, but it sure handled the 55mph country roads. I’ve been using these for 3 phones now and my wife and daughter have them on theirs too.

I got my first rokform case for ma Galaxy S5. I left my phone on top of my ’87 Corvette before driving down fro Mt Charleston. We hit the roundabout half way to the interstate doing close to 90mph. At the interstate, I realized my phone was missing. Long story short, it was held to the roof of my vette till we hit the roundabout, where it flew across the roundabout sustaining minimal damage to the corners of the case
