Today we’re sharing a story recently sent to us by Rick, a motorcyclist and Rokform product owner. Not too long ago, Rick was in a collision with a car that failed to stop at a stop sign. Keep reading to hear his story.
The Survival Story
Hello, I recently purchased your Fuzion Pro case and the motorcycle bar mount. Yesterday morning I was on the motorcycle heading to work when an idiot (I’m trying to be nice) driver ran a stop sign and pulled out in front of me. Even with years of experience one can never be fully prepared for the inevitable. Anyway, I hit the car doing at least 35mph. The last thing on my mind was my phone. After I cleared the stars out of my head and my anger subsided, I needed to start making calls. Low and behold, there it sat, my phone and mount unscathed even with front end damage to the motorcycle. I was very impressed to see that the Rokform product held up to a high level in my opinion. I'm very pleased to have purchased these products. I felt I needed to share this with your company to let you know what an outstanding product you have produced. I’m not looking for any sympathy or any free handouts. I just want to express my gratitude. If for any reason you would like to share this with others, I have no objection. Again, thank you.
P.S. I would not recommend others to test your product the same way.
One of the first things the DMV recommends doing after an accident occurs is to make any necessary phone calls: emergency calls to 9-1-1 if there are injuries, to police to report the incident, to tow companies for immediate roadside assistance, to insurance to report the incident, and last but not least, to immediate friends or family to let them know what’s just happened.
We’re happy that Rick came out of the accident okay and that despite receiving front-end damage to his motorcycle, Rick was able to use his phone and start making his important phone calls. Thank you Rick for sharing your story with us!

I am new to dirt biking world, but my Yamaha V-Star 950 has a Rokform mount and I have been very impressed with it’s hold and durability on all my rides. So I bought a new handlebar mount for my Suzuki DRZ400S and have been really impressed that even while riding off road my screen has been clear without a ton of vibration. Today I got a really good test of its durability and strength as I went up a very steep hill I hit a hardy rock and popped the throttle the bike went right out from under me and took a dive down an embankment rolling a couple of times. I didn’t even think about my phone as I made my way down to it. A slight cracked faring but nothing looked off to me. I picked it up and got on and rode home. It wasn’t until I was in my garage taking off my gear that I realized my phone had gone with my bike down that hill. I just sat and stared at it for awhile in disbelief that there wasn’t even a scratch on it was in the same spot it was when I left.
Crazy strong and high quality. My last 3 phones have all had these cases and I have never been disappointed. Thanks for making such an awesome thing.
